- ANOTHER STUNNING CEILING FOR GUESTS

at a unique home in Yorkshire are waking up to a spectacular
black and gold ceiling created using Luxalon aluminium
ceilings from Hunter Douglas. The project shows the
tremendous design versatility of the Luxalon range
and the dramatic effects that can be achieved.
Having
used Hunter Douglas Luxalon ceilings elsewhere in
the property, the homeowner had no hesitation in selecting
them for the guest bedroom. To create a relaxing yet
sumptuous atmosphere, she chose black bed linen and
drapes, accented with monochrome and gold décor,
prints and accessories. To complement this theme and
tie the whole look together, Hunter Douglas designers
created a ceiling comprising 150mm black panels, broken
up by alternating bands of 75mm panels in brushed
steel and brushed gold.
Aluminium
ceilings offer a simple way for homeowners to put
their individual stamp on interiors. With such a wide-ranging
palette of colours, finishes, widths and styles on
offer, the possibilities are only limited by the imagination.
Each ceiling is custom made, therefore completely
unique. Curves, drop-down panels and other design
features can also be added to accentuate the effect.
Opting
for an aluminium ceiling also brings many practical
benefits over traditional plaster. The ceilings require
no maintenance beyond a wipe with a damp cloth and
are ideal for areas prone to condensation, such as
bathrooms, wet rooms, utility areas and kitchens. |
