- DIAGONAL CEILING CREATES BATHROOM WITH A TWIST
Hunter
Douglas Luxalon ceilings have helped to create a stunning
‘statement’ bathroom in a private home
in Derbyshire. The owner of the house in Dronfield
Woodhouse, wanted his large main bathroom to make
an immediate impact. A brushed steel ceiling with
the unusual twist of a diagonal 75mm panel is in perfect
keeping with the décor.
As
a spice dealer by trade, the homeowner wanted the
room interiors to be feature warm colours and natural
textures – a theme that was carried through
to the bathroom. The Hunter Douglas Luxalon ceiling
complements the heavily textured stone tiles, shower,
radiator and fittings. The panels feature integrated
lighting while the brushed steel finish subtly reflects
the special ‘rainbow’ lighting installed
in the shower.
The
owner was so pleased with the result that he also
installed Hunter Douglas Luxalon ceilings in his kitchen.
Being condensation resistant, the ceilings are a practical
solution for areas such as kitchens, bathrooms and
utility rooms, as well as bedrooms and living areas.
The ceilings can simply be cleaned with a damp cloth,
and unlike plaster ceilings, they need no extra maintenance.
Each
ceiling is custom-made, providing a simple way to
create a unique style and mood in any space. Available
in a wide choice of colours and finishes, they provide
a foil for both contemporary and traditional interiors
and can also be enhanced with curves and extra design
features. All the systems are easily fixed to plasterboard
or can be suspended so installation is simple too.
The panels are also recyclable. |
