- LUXALON CEILING SWIMMINGLY SUCCESFUL
A
private house in Shropshire, which has been designed
and recently built by its owner, has chosen a stunning
ceiling system for his indoor swimming pool area.
After
visiting the Hunter Douglas Ceiling Systems stand
at last year’s Grand Designs exhibition, the
owner promptly ordered 165m2 of Luxalon aluminium
ceiling panels in silver with black infill sections
to enhance the magnificent pool room. The result was
a sleek and sophisticated linear design, incorporating
a large glass atrium which provides natural daylight.
The project highlights the tremendous design versatility
of the Luxalon range and the dramatic effects that
can be achieved.
Aluminium
ceilings offer a simple way for homeowners to put
their individual stamp on interiors. With such a wide-ranging
palette of colours, finishes, widths and styles on
offer, the possibilities are endless. Each ceiling
is custom made, therefore completely unique. Curves,
drop-down panels and other design features can also
be added to accentuate the effect.
Being
condensation resistant, the ceilings are a practical
solution for areas such as kitchens, bathrooms and
utility rooms, as well as bedrooms and living areas.
The ceilings can simply be cleaned with a damp cloth,
and unlike plaster ceilings, they need no extra maintenance. |
